We were recommended to Ray through family and friends who had used him for the purchase of their own homes. We had met with a lot of other bank-based mortgage brokers, but Ray took the time to meet with us and made us feel like WE were his priority, not just a commission. He met with us as often as we needed, and kept us updated on any changes in the market, any requirements we needed, and any things to look out for or work towards. He was interested in helping us get the most out of our investment. We were nearly ready to sign with one bank for a mortgage when we were given the opportunity to go with a better offer. We spoke with Ray about this and HE was the one who recommended we cut ties and pursue the other venture; again this was because it was a better fit for us in the long run, even if it meant parting ways with him as our mortgage broker (the bank we went with doesn’t deal with brokers). Regardless of this, Ray still keeps in touch to make sure we are on the right financial track, and we hope to work with him again with future investments.
