MOUNT PEARL, Newfoundland (March 14, 2005) – Mortgage Alliance Franchising Inc. today awarded a franchise to Shoreline Mortgages Inc., based in Newfoundland. This is the first franchise expansion into Atlantic Canada, and signifies a shift in presence for Mortgage Alliance with consumers in the region.
In the Atlantic market, turning to a mortgage broker instead of going directly to the major banks is a relatively new experience for many consumers. “Bringing in franchisees is a great way to build the Mortgage Alliance name at street level, and emerge as the company that consumers can trust to get them the Right Mortgage for their needs” says Mortgage Alliance President and CEO Michael Beckette.
The agreement with Shoreline Mortgages is a positive step in adding to Mortgage Alliance’s presence in Atlantic Canada.
